Hello 👋🏻 I’m Katie - podcast and radio producer based in Bristol, UK
I love being a producer because it combines creativity and coordination: researching stories, interviewing guests, editing audio and video, project coordination, scriptwriting, and collaborating with others to create addictive audio.
I am a BJTC-accredited journalist and hold a Master’s degree in Audio Journalism (Distinction) from the University of the West of England. I also have a BA in Anthropology (2:1) from the University of Sussex.
I’ve recently worked on two BBC podcasts - Gardeners' World and Complex with Kimberley Wilson - for Immediate Media and Loftus Media, and my radio documentary ‘Sylvia Pankhurst: The Honorary Ethiopian’ has been nominated for the BJTC Award for Best Radio Documentary by UWE. I've also had my podcasts broadcast at the Roundhouse (Camden), and on local stations Ujima FM and BCFM.
I'm currently open to working on new projects - so get in touch: katie@unaaudio.co.uk

Katie was incredibly professional when working with Evolve Music and threw herself into interviewing people, regardless of the chaotic conditions. She is incredibly reliable and went above and beyond. I would love to work with her again.
